Are you interested in exploring the circularity of EV batteries in India? Join us for this insightful webinar to explore the latest improvements in battery reuse and recycling ecosystem. The webinar aims to disseminate the cutting-edge insights from the recent report “Overview of battery recycling ecosystem: Stakeholder identification and perspective on Environment, Health & Safety aspects" released under the India component of NDC Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC-TIA) initiative.

About the report

The report “Overview of battery recycling ecosystem: Stakeholder identification and perspective on Environment, Health & Safety aspects provides a standard operating procedure and operational guideline for battery recycling that ensures maximum waste battery feedstock to the recycling facilities which further translates to maximum recovery of critical battery minerals. Additionally, the report outlines a framework for Environment, Health and Safety management for the retired batteries which ensures the protection of health and safety of employees and the public as well as the environment from hazards associated with the workplace. The report would serve as a useful guideline for the stakeholders in the recycling domain to establish a safe and efficient EV battery recycling ecosystem. A thorough report on examination of both the technical and economic aspects of battery reuse was conducted within the scope of the same study.
